The Summer Carnival is one of the biggest gala days in NSW, Attracting over 450 athletes from the previous 3 years, athletes from all over NSW, ACT, Victoria and QLD come to the Shellharbour Region for a great competition on a Grass Track -we cater for all athletes from Tiny Tots to Opens and Masters

Eligible Age Groups: 9s - Masters
Permit status: This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Australia Athletics in the Open and U20's. All other events will be a State Permit.

Cost: $50 per athlete
Eligible Age Groups: 16s - Masters + National Qualification opportunity for the 14s & 15s (Additional participation events offered)
Permit status: This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Australian Athletics (in the events for the Open, Under 20, 17s and, 16s age groups only). 14s & 15s age group events will be ratified as a state permit.
Performances are eligible to be considered for qualification to the Australian Athletics Championships

Eligible Age Groups: OPEN (participation opportunities for 14s and above)
Permit status: This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Australia Athletics, in the A Race Only. B and subsequent races will be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.
Registrations will open at 9:00am on 14 January 2025 and close at 12:00pm on 10 February 2025. Late entries will be accepted until 11:59pm on 10 February 2025 and will incur a $10 late fee.

Permit status: This meet will be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to use their performance to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.
Date: 28th February - 1st March 2026
Location: Maitland Regional Athletics Centre
Cost: $40 per athlete
Eligible Age Groups: 7s - 15s (Additional participation events offered)
Permit status: This meet will be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to use their Individual performances to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.
Performances are eligible to be considered for qualification to the Australian Athletics Championships.
Date: 12th - 15th March 2026
Location: Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre
Cost: $40 first event, $30 Subsequent events
Eligible Age Groups: 13s - U20
Permit status: This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Australian Athletics . All other events will be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.

New athletes can come along and try athletics for two weeks for FREE. The first Come and Try session is August 29th. Choose between the 6 pm to 7 pm session or the 7 pm to 8 pm session.
Our run nights (or competition nights) start on Fridays from September at 6 pm. Please arrive by 5:45 and sign your child in. You are welcome to register or trial, even if the season has already started.
