The Shire Run & Aquathlon on Saturday 22 November 2025 in Kurnell, NSW is a community festival with a carnival atmosphere, catering for recreational walkers/runners through to the elite.
The event takes place along the stunning Kurnell Foreshore, with the start/finish area located at Bonna Point Reserve. The course terrain is mainly sealed path with some grass at the start and finish.

New athletes can come along and try athletics for two weeks for FREE. The first Come and Try session is August 29th. Choose between the 6 pm to 7 pm session or the 7 pm to 8 pm session.
Our run nights (or competition nights) start on Fridays from September at 6 pm. Please arrive by 5:45 and sign your child in. You are welcome to register or trial, even if the season has already started.
